Universal Money Centers, Inc.'s Privacy Policy governs how we manage any personal information we may now, or in the future.
 
UMC's Commitment to Online Security
UMC employs physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard the security and integrity of any personal information collected from our customers and users of our internet site. We use encryption techniques coupled with sound data management principles whenever we transmit or receive any personal information.

UMC tightly controls any and all collected personal information. Any information we collect that can be associated with a specific individual, including (but not limited to) names, addresses, phone or email information, or credit card or network ID or PIN or other data, remains accessible only to approved UMC staff. Any agent or contractor that transacts with UMC may have access to UMC's information, but only if such an agent or contractor specifically adheres to UMC's Privacy Policy.

To protect the security of information, passwords may be required for certain areas of the site.
 
Personal Information UMC May Collect Online
UMC's web site may now or in the future collect the following types of personal information: names, postal and e-mail addresses, phone and facsimile numbers, billing information, credit/debit card numbers, and unsorted commentary like feedback and complaint information. We may also collect information about businesses, some of which could constitute personal information, as well as personal information from individuals acting solely in their business capacity.

UMC will never collect or maintain information from any person actually known to be under the age of 13, and no part of our site is structured to attract anyone under the age of 13.
 
How UMC Uses Personal Information
Unless we obtain in advance the specific permission of the site user or customer, UMC will not use personal information for any purpose other than that for which the site user or customer submitted it. We may use personal information within the company to reply to inquiries, handle complaints, or for internal record-keeping.

UMC may now or in the future conduct electronic commerce on its site, and process billing and business requests related to commercial transactions. At certain points where the UMC site collects personal information, site users and customers may be given the opportunity to indicate interest in receiving a mailing list containing information about UMC products and services. At any time you can add or remove your name from any UMC mail or email list by sending a specific request to inquiries@universalmoney.com.
 
How Your Information May Be Shared
UMC will never rent, sell or share collected personal information. UMC may exchange collected personal information with contracted partners or other entities maintaining formal business relationships with UMC, but only if the partner or other entity specifically adheres to this Privacy Policy.

UMC may also release personal information to appropriate governmental authorities under the following circumstances:
  • where release is required by law (for example, a subpoena) or regulation, or is requested by a government agency conducting investigations or proceedings;
  • where UMC suspects that an individual or company may be engaged in criminal or fraudulent activity or other deceptive practices that a governmental agency should be made aware of; or,

Keeping Your Personal Information Accurate
If your personal information changes or if you would like to review the personal information we may have for you on file, please send an e-mail to inquiries@universalmoney.com with your new information or to request a review.
 
Computer Tracking and Cookies
UMC's web site does not track, collect or distribute personal information that is not specifically entered by site users or customers. UMC maintains site logs that generate certain kinds of non-identifying site usage data, such as the number of hits and visits to our site. This information is used for internal purposes by UMC's technical staff to provide better services to our site users and customers. We may also be provide this information to other organizations. However, these site logs and the resulting statistics do not contain personal information that can be associated with specific individuals, and can not be used to gather or generate such information.

A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a Web server and stored on your computer's hard drive. UMC may now or in the future use non-identifying cookies to provide easier site navigation and access to forms. You can still use the UMC site if your browser is set to reject cookies. Cookies on the UMC site do not generate personal data, do not read personal data from individual computers, and are never tied to anything that could be used to identify a specific individual.
